Restaurant Excellensen

Excellensen is named after the steamer who was doing the route between Christianssand and Christiania and had a stop at Dampskipsbrygga in Stavern. Large airy room with picturesque views over Dampskipsbrygga and Citadellet. Decorated with paintings by Odd Nedrum, Edv. Didricks and Hjalmar Johnsen. The restaurant can welcome 68 people and is our à la carte restaurant.

Selma’s garden

Selma’s garden is Hotel Wassilioff’s main living room. The hall got its name from Herman Wildenvey’s poem “It Was Selma This Time”. Herman Wildenvey was a frequent guest at Hotel Wassilioff. The venue is a well equipped conference room which can accommodate up to 160 people in conference setup, with network access and technical equipment. Selmas Garden is also the perfect setting for celebrations and weddings, and we can welcome 130 people in party setup. There is plenty of room for dancing and the venue has its own bar. In July, this is where Hotel Wassilioff’s popular summer show is held.

Middle lounge

Cozy lounge, with spacious tables and comfortable chairs, comfortable colors and lighting. Large windows facing the sea. 24 people in dining setup. 18 people in conference setup.

Aamodt

Located in the oldest part of the hotel, it has always been the hotel’s dining room. The walls are decorated with original murals from 1923 by Asbjørn Aamodt, with motifs evocative of the summer in Stavern. The hall can accommodate up to 60 people in conference setup, and offers internet access and technical equipment. In party setup it can accommodate up to 75 people and offers cozy lounges. The Aamodt hall has windows facing the sea.

Corner lounge

A nice room on the corner of the hotel with views over Sukkerstranda and Dampskipsbrygga. There is room for 18 people around the room’s large table in conference setup. Internet access and standard technical equipment are available. The room is also suitable for smaller parties and dinners, with 24 people sitting comfortably around the large table.

Capt. Cabin

Light and airy hall with large windows facing Kronprinstomten and the sea. Conference capacity for 50 people, internet access and technical equipment. The hall is suitable for parties of up to 60 people.

Ingebrigt

The conference room Ingebrigt is located on the hotel’s ground floor and has a capacity of 60 people. Internet access and standard technical equipment.

Tatjana
